“The course has taught me to pay attention to the experiential sensation of breathing as a means of turning off the other mental system of rumination, etc. I have also found myself being aware of my own thoughts and experience in a given moment since starting the course, and have found that very valuable I have many more moments of awareness of my thoughts, feelings and sensations in a given day.
This has been particularly helpful when I become aware that I am ruminating on something in a way that I do not want and trying to break old patterns of thought. I really enjoyed working with Patrick and thought he was an excellent and approachable teacher with a passion for mindfulness. He was also very knowledgeable about the subject and always happy to share his insights and experiences with us as participants.”
