The more we accept
the simplicity of our moment-to-moment experience, the more often we will naturally be present and feel more at ease in the world.
Meet Patrick
Patrick Leonard, MSs (Hons)
University College Dublin
Patrick has worked with diverse populations and cultures including spending two years teaching in The Gambia West Africa in the late 80s, and seventeen years living and working in the United States in the hospitality and real estate industries. Patrick joined the Irish civil service in 2015 and currently works for the Department of Transport.
From his early twenties, he has had an interest in personal development and has read several books and attended various workshops in the area.
In 2007 Patrick developed an interest in mindfulness as both a therapeutic tool and a means for a more fulfilled life. Since then, he has been committed to daily mindfulness practice and has attended retreats including a ten-day silent vipassana retreat.
Wanting to share the many benefits he has personally gained from mindfulness and to further his understanding from an academic perspective Patrick completed his Masters in Mindfulness Based Interventions at University College Dublin (UCD) and was awarded a first class honours.
As a member of the Mindfulness Teachers Association of Ireland (MTAI) Patrick adheres to their Good Practice Guidelines.
